The manufacturing process included the application of lead-free glazes to the surface of the mug. These non-toxic glazes, in addition to giving a touch of color and shine to the mug, ensure that the final product is safe for contact with food. The lack of lead in the glazing process is essential to ensure non-contamination of food when using the mug.
 
After the glazing stage, the mug was fired at a temperature of 940 degrees Celsius. This high-temperature firing was necessary to make the glaze stable and to attach it firmly to the clay, ensuring a durable and resistant surface that was easily washable and safe for use with hot or cold drinks.
 
The result is a terracotta cup with authentic charm and a unique design, with its imperfections that underline its craftsmanship.
